Luciano Civelli will be ruled out of action for 10 days after sustaining a knee injury in the friendly match against Leiston on Tuesday.
The Argentine wide midfielder was forced from the field of play after just five minutes of the pre-season clash taking a blow to the same knee which ruled him out of the game for 16 months, but subsequent investigation into the injury has proven it is not a serious setback for the former Banfield man.
Confirming the news to the Official Club Website, Town boss Roy Keane said: "When you've had a long term injury people tend to panic but it's a very straightforward knock.
"I saw the tackle and you see a lot exactly the same in a game. He jarred his knee and landed awkwardly. He'll be out for 10 days, two weeks maximum."
Before Civelli's injury against Burnley in March 2009, the 23 year old featured for Town 8 times without scoring.
