Town boss Roy Keane has confirmed the club are still hopeful of bringing goalkeeper Marton Fulop to Portman Road.
Yesterday it appeared that any chance of signing the Hungarian international stopper had gone, with reports in the North East suggesting that the two sides could not agree personal terms, but that now appears not to be the case.
Speaking to the Official Club Website over the prospects of doing a deal for the Sunderland glovesman Keane said: "I think things will come to a head in the next day or two.
"I want to bring in another 'keeper and we've been talking to Marton. I think he wants to come but there are things to sort out and he is one of two targets we have."
It is thought that the second target that Keane has in mind is former Manchester United goalkeeper Roy Carroll, who the Irishman played alongside during his time at Old Trafford.
