Ipswich Town this evening beat Bury St Edmunds by a signal goal to nil in a friendly match held at Ram Meadow.

Gareth McAuley was the man to be on target for Town, scoring from a header mid-way through the second half to secure the win.

New signing Mark Kennedy made his debut in the match, coming on as a substitute at half time replacing fellow recent signing Conor Hourihane.

Town Side: Murphy, Peters, O'Connor (Lambe 64), McAuley, Smith, Hyam, Hourihane (Kennedy 46), Leadbitter, Edwards, Walters, Priskin.
